Itinerary

Day 0: July 27th - Departure From the U.S.

Tonight, you will board your transatlantic flight to Ireland.

 

Day 1: July 28th - Arrival & Kinsale

Upon arrival at the airport, we will proceed through passport control and collect our luggage before boarding our private coach, From there, we’ll make our way to the picturesque town of Kinsale – Father Gerry Hurley’s favorite spot – where we’ll be based for the next few days. Once we arrive, we’ll check in at our hotel and settle in before gathering for our first group dinner, a warm welcome to the journey ahead.

Day 2: July 29th - Cobh & Titanic Experience

After breakfast, you’ll set off for a half-day vist to the charming harbor town of Cobh, famously known as the last port of call for the Titanic. Enjoy time to explore the colorful streets, take in views of the waterfront, and visit the fascinating Titanic Experience, where the story of the ship and its passengers comes to life. After soaking up the history and atmosphere, you’ll return to Kinsale for a free afternoon and evening to relax or enjoy dinner in one of the town’s many inviting restaurants.

Day 3: July 30th - Cork City

Today, we’ll make our way into lively Cork City for a morning of exploration and discovery. Take time to wonder through the historic streets and soak up the atmosphere, with the chance to visit highlights such as the English Market, Shandon Bells, and Cork City Gaol – along with plenty of charming shops and cafes along the way. On our return to Kinsale, we’ll stop at the Garden of Remembrance for a quiet moment of reflection. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace – perhaps stroll through Kinsale’s colorful streets, relax by the habour, or settle into a cozy spot for a pint or bite to eat.

Day 4: July 31st - Journey to Limerick via Blarney Woolen Mills

After breakfast, we’ll say goodbye to Kinsale and set off for Limerick, a lively city rich in history and culture. En route, enjoy a stop at Blarney Woollen Mills, perfect for browning Irish crafts, woollens, and gifts. Upon arrival in Limerick, you’ll check into the hotel before heading out to explore King John’s Castle, where a fascinating tour will bring the city’s medieval past to life. Later that evening, we’ll gather for a relaxing group dinner at the hotel to round off the day.

Day 5: August 1st - Cliffs of Moher and Sheepdogs

Today is all about the beauty of Ireland’s west coast. We’ll set off for the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, where you can take in sweeping views over the Atlantic Ocean. Afterward, we’ll stop in the charming village of Doolin – famous for its traditional music scene – for lunch. The journey continues with a scenic drive through the Burren, a unique limestone landscape unlike anywhere else in Ireland. Our final stop is Catherconnell Sheepdog Farm, where you’ll enjoy an impressive demonstration of skilled sheepdogs at work. We’ll return to Limerick in the evening, with time to relax and enjoy dinner on own.

Day 6: August 2nd - Foynes & the Shannon Estuary

After breakfast, we’ll head west to the town of Foynes, set along the scenic Shannon Estuary. Here you’ll visit the renowned Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum, where the golden age of transatlantic aviation is brought to life – and where Irish Coffee was famously created. Enjoy time to explore the exhibits before rolling up your sleeves for a fun Irish Coffee-making class. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely drive through the peaceful estuary region before returning to Limerick for a relaxed afternoon to explore or dine at your own pace.

Day 7: August 3rd - Limerick to Kilkenny

After breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to Limerick and set out for the medieval city of Kilkenny. Along the way, enjoy a stop at the stunning Rock of Cashel – one of Ireland’s most spectacular historic sites, perched high on a limestone outcrop with sweeping countryside views. Take time to explore this remarkable complex of ancient chapels, towers, and halls steeped in centuries of Irish history. From here, we’ll continue to Kilkenny, where you can settle into the hotel and enjoy some free time before gathering for a relaxing group dinner to round off the day.

Day 8: August 4th - Kilkenny & Malzards Pub Experience

This morning, we’ll head out to Malzards Pub in the village of Stoneyford for a special GAA experience. You’ll learn about Ireland’s national sport of hurling, try your hand at the game, and enjoy tea and scones in this warm, family-run setting. The visit also includes traditional music and storytelling—a wonderful way to connect with Irish culture and community. After returning to Kilkenny, the rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy as you like—explore the medieval mile, browse local shops, or unwind in one of the town’s cozy cafés.

Day 9: August 5th - Kilkenny to Malahide via Irish National Stud

After breakfast, it’s time to leave Kilkenny behind as we make our way toward the charming coastal town of Malahide. En route, we’ll stop at the Irish National Stud Farm – home to some of the finest thoroughbred horses in the world. Explore the beautiful grounds, visit the famous Japanese Gardens, and learn about Ireland’s deep connection to horse breeding and racing. Afterward we’ll continue on to Malahide, where you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy your finale evening over a group dinner in the hotel.

Day 10: August 6th - Back to the USA

This morning, we will depart via Dublin Airport on our transatlantic flight back to the USA.
