This evening, we will depart the U.S. by taking an overnight flight to the United Kingdom. Be sure to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to departure.

This morning, we land at London Heathrow. Please plan your arrival into LHR by 10:00am to allow enough time to collect your bags and make your way to the arrivals hall, where our tour guide will be waiting to greet the group. Once everyone has gathered, we’ll board our coach and begin our journey south toward Wales. Along the way, we’ll stop for a relaxed brunch as we continue our drive southwest.

We’ll enjoy views along the way and will cross the impressive Severn Bridge, before entering into Wales/Cymru, shortly arriving at the capital city of Cardiff and our centrally located hotel.

Overnight at The Hilton Hotel, Cardiff – Welcome Dinner

After a delicious Welsh breakfast, we will begin our day exploring Cardiff Bay. Cardiff Bay is a vibrant waterfront district known for its scenic harbor, modern architecture, and lively atmosphere. Visitors can stroll along the waterfront, admire landmarks such as the Wales Millennium Centre and Senedd, and enjoy the area’s shops, cafés, and cultural attractions.

Then we will head to a visit of Cardiff Castle which is one of Wales’s leading heritage attractions and a site of international significance. We will discover a story 2,000 years in the making. From the Roman occupation of Britain to the Norman Conquest, through civil war turbulence, a Victorian transformation and even the terrors of World War 2, these walls have seen it all.

After this we will enjoy some free time wandering through the many Victorian and Edwardian arcades and streets while relaxing in the shadows of the famous landmark and home of Welsh Rugby, the Principality Stadium. This early evening, we will take a trip west to visit Tom’s friends at Skewen Rugby Club for our first musical performance.

After breakfast, we journey deep into the Brecon Beacons National Park, now referred to by the Welsh language name of ‘Bannau Brycheiniog’. After refreshments in the local market town of Abergavenny we’ll head out to explore the story of
Wales’s Industrial Heritage at the Big Pit National Coal Museum, a real coal mine and one of Britain’s leading mining museums.

For our last evening in ‘Cymru’ we will be entertained by The Spirit of Wales for an evening of Welsh local dishes, music, culture, and humor.

Overnight at The Hilton Hotel, Cardiff – Farewell to Wales Dinner & Entertainment with group

Following breakfast this morning, we will depart Cymru for Devon, heading further south and cross back into England. The scenic drive will take us through the Wye Valley, which is a dedicated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). In the middle of this countryside, we will stop for a visit to Tintern Abbey, a Welsh national icon, still standing in roofless splendor on the banks of the River Wye after 500 years. We’ll stop for a late lunch on own in Glastonbury, one of England’s most historic and spiritual towns, renowned for its rich legends and connections to King Arthur. Dominated by the iconic Glastonbury Tor, the town also features the atmospheric ruins of Glastonbury Abbey and a vibrant independent high street.

The end of the day sees us reaching the seaside resort of Torquay, siting proudly on the English Channel. Torquay’s nickname is the English Riviera due to its beautiful coastline.

Overnight Devon- The Imperial Hotel, Torquay – Hotel Dinner with group

After a hearty breakfast, we will enjoy a scenic drive through Dartmoor National Park, visiting the picturesque village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor before continuing to Castle Drogo for a self-guided visit. This afternoon, we’ll stop at the ancient town of Exeter to enjoy our first Devon Cream Tea experience at a traditional tearoom, where the Devonians will tell us it’s cream first and jam on top! Tonight, we will enjoy our 2nd performance in a local venue.

Overnight Devon- The Imperial Hotel, Torquay – Dinner on own

This morning, we will depart Devon for Cornwall, breaking up the journey with a stop at Tintagel Castle Visitor Centre. Here we will learn about the legend of King Arthur, with an optional cliff path walk. After lunch at Tintagel or a nearby seaside town, we will press on to our final trip location of Falmouth, enjoying the pleasant scenic coast drive.

This day starts with a scenic bus trip through the Cornish countryside learning about Cornish mining, fishing, and legends as we enjoy the views. We’ll then arrive at Marazion, soft sandy beaches, places to eat, drink, stay & shop and the home of St Michael’s Mount. We’ll enjoy the breath-taking view across the causeway to St Michael’s Mount and this incredible photo opportunity. After lunch on own we will stop at Penzance Harbour for a quick photo stop. After we will visit to Minack Theatre – a dramatic open-air theatre carved into a cliff overlooking the sea. Our final stop of the day brings us to our destination, where we’ll enjoy a free evening to relax or explore at your own pace.

Overnight Cornwall Merchant’s Manor Hotel-Falmouth – Dinner on own

Today we will head to one of the most famous visitor attractions in Cornwall. The Eden Project is located in a reclaimed china clay pit and celebrates plants and the natural world, reconnecting people with them and working to regenerate damaged landscape.

On arriving at the Eden Project, we’ll enjoy a tour of the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes, then enjoy lunch at the Eden Kitchen or on the Mediterranean Terrace. We’ll explore the Outdoor Gardens and take in the stunning nature as we reflect on a perfect visit at the end of our last day. This evening, we will enjoy our final performance together as we come to a close on our journey as a group.

Overnight Cornwall -Merchant’s Manor Hotel-Falmouth – Dinner on own

This morning we bid farewell to our Celtic Cornish coast and begin our journey north toward London and Heathrow. We start with a delightful stop in Wells, where we’ll have free time to enjoy lunch and refreshments at your leisure. England’s smallest city, Wells offers a picturesque atmosphere, historic streets, independent shops, and inviting cafés, making it the perfect place to stretch your legs and enjoy a relaxing break before continuing our journey.

We will continue on to Stonehenge, where we’ll have time for lunch on own before we hop on the shuttle to visit The Stones. Take in the mystery and majesty of this prehistoric megalithic monument rising from the Salisbury Plain, a place that has inspired wonder for thousands of years.

Once we’ve explored Stonehenge, we make our final leg of the day to Windsor. This evening, we’ll come together one last time for a special farewell dinner as a group, sharing memories, stories, and a final toast to our journey before tomorrow’s departures.

With bags packed, we’ll enjoy breakfast and head for the airport where we will board our flight home. We’ll take with us our photos and memories of those we will have met along the way!
