“In December 2019, the Boston Irish Business Association travelled to Ireland for a 6 day Trade Mission, our first in 10 years. As a volunteer led organization this was a tremendous task to take on and we knew there was no better partner than Cara Group Travel. Sara and her team were experts in every aspect of travel/logistics planning and they were so accommodating and patient with our group in navigating last minutes changes all while making the booking process as easy as possible. CGT made the front end planning seamless to our organization, and offered insightful suggestions/advice to supplement our meetings and event agenda. While the ease of planning was truly welcomed, the most impressive aspect of their service was the professionalism and bespoke experiences while on the ground. Along the way, our trip was dotted with perfect amounts of cultural and historical activities which elevated our visit to the next level. Sara has an incredible reputation and has built tremendous contacts in the hospitality scene in Ireland. Everywhere we went we were welcomed as if we were long-time friends. From the large scale events, to the beautiful business coach, personal car transfers, and the lovely hotels that welcomed us – no detail was left unturned. On several occasions we checked in very late after a long day of meetings/events/travel to find that our group’s hotel room keys were pulled and lined up for us upon arrival in reception. We knew we were operating in a different sphere working with Sara. Although our six day itinerary which brought us to Belfast, Derry, Donegal, Dublin, Kildare, and Cork was extremely ambitious – it could not have gone more smoothly. Every single delegate on our business trip was beyond impressed with the level of service and professionalism demonstrated by Cara Group Travel. Thank you so much for your recommendations for places to stay and things to do while in Ireland. We also spent quite a bit of time in Northern Ireland with my son’s soccer team and enjoyed the area. We absolutely loved beautiful Ireland and the friend people and would definitely go back again.
Thank you to the entire team at Cara Group Travel for your help in pulling together a wonderful and memorable trip. By all account, our guests enjoyed every minute of their time in Dublin and Belfast and it wouldn’t have come together without you personally. The emails, the calls, the questions…you were always there for us and I truly hope we work together again someday.
I want to thank everyone who had part in making this trip such a memorable one for the Turisco’s. They were over the top happy with everything from the Guides that “were top notch” from the hotels, which were beyond, especially Balmoral, tea at the Ashford Castle! They even opted for the Champagne tasting once there! The small group at the London Eye! Ann wanted you to be sure to thank you for contacting the hotel in London, whatever magic you did was so appreciated, the staff couldn’t have been nicer, the Manager came to speak to them, gave them full access to the mini bar, the view of the Eye was fabulous. All the components were perfect! The Guide at St. Andrews even helped Tom with shopping in the gift shop! They said they could not come up with one complaint or criticism and as you know there were so many components to this trip! It wasn’t an easy one for sure. My Thanks, you are a First Rate Company and such a pleasure for me to work with you. I couldn’t have done this one on my own!

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our recent trip with Fr. Sean! I have been to Ireland many times and I have to say this was the most well organized and interesting trip I have experienced. Michael our driver and Sean our tour director were beyond wonderful. They were professional yet approachable on any subject whether it be a question, a comment or just to say good morning! They were both amazing and I would recommend them highly to anyone asking about a trip to Ireland.
The bus was very comfortable, the hotels were great and the service we experienced at each hotel was beyond amazing! Fr. Sean had a wonderful trip as did all the guests, but speaking on behalf of myself and my husband Roger we can’t tell you how much we enjoyed ourselves. Also thank you again for arranging a driver to pick us up even tho we came in a day late. That was such a treat and he was wonderful too.
So much enjoyed the trip to Ireland with Cara Group Travel for the Friendship Four Hockey Tournament. Our guide, Gerry was fantastic. It was amazing to visit Dublin, Belfast and many points in between.

Cara Group Travel made this an amazing experience for not only us, but for our son, Sean. The entire trip was fantastic and very well planned out. Each step we were met with friendly Cara employees who made this a memorable trip for all of us. In particular, our bus drive Michael was friendly, polite and full of so much information regarding Ireland! Just a wonderful person who we will not forget! I’m writing one more email to thank you once again for all your help on our wonderful Ireland and Northern Ireland trip. Bill and I, our son and daughter-in-law, and our friend Kathy all made some wonderful memories that we’ll be talking about for years to come. We made every tour even though we wanted to sleep in; we didn’t want to miss a moment of each experience. Our whole group was a mix of people of all ages (think we were close to being the oldest if not THE oldest!) and backgrounds, and the bests part is that everyone enjoyed spending time together. But our favorite person without a doubt was our Dennis O’Sullivan!! We were so lucky to have him as our bus driver; he kept us informed and in stitches on every ride. I sit here right now still chuckling at some of his stories and comments, his jokes and his
questions! He is an Irish gem! I’ve enjoyed our visits. Thanks again and take care!
Our experience was nothing short of spectacular. The Cara Group Travel workers, especially Sara, did everything in their power to make our trip run smoothly and to maximize our options to see the beautiful country. Our guys not only got to participate playing at an international venue, they got to give back to the Belfast Community by visiting a local school for an afternoon. The Belfast Classic was a great experience for our program, players and our staff.

After a ten day tour of Ireland with friends I bid them farewell and headed out on a wonderful day long adventure thru the Boyne Valley. I was going to visit family ancestral locations in Ireland. Tony, my very personable professional driver, who knows Ireland inside out took me to places I would never have known to ask about. His knowledge of history and witty trivia made it a day I will never forget. I felt as if I was taking a ride with a family member, thanks for the “best” day.
My wife and I were on the Fr. Sean Condon’s 60th Jubilee tour. Just wanted to congratulate you for putting together the best possible tour to celebrate a milestone in Fr. Sean’s life.
The tour guide Sean was outstanding – full of interesting facts about his home country. Our driver Michael could take that tour bus anywhere! He was a wonderful safe driver, I think he has been on every back road in Ireland. We would like to thank you again for a very memorable and fun tour. We will highly recommend to you to our friends interested in traveling to Ireland.

We certainly can’t thank you enough for everything—from the thoughtful planning, to the answering of all of our millions of questions, to facilitating the last-minute coach switch—you were awesome!. Our driver James was really wonderful.Thanks again for being a huge part of why this trip was so successful! I can’t even imagine having tried to pull this off without you. My only regret is that we didn’t work with you from the start with hotels and flights, but live and learn. If we travel in the future, we will certainly reach out.

When you objectives is to impress your travelers and/or create memories and shared opportunities that will forever be remembered, then Cara Group Travel is the partner you are looking for.
Once we got to Ireland, we loved it. The hotel and their staff were awesome and the food was great. For most people going on a trip like this, touring a new destination and the games are typically the most memorable part, but for us I would say the community engagement was probably one of the things we will take away from the entire experience. Our players and staff really enjoyed getting to visit the school and the impromptu dance battles that took place at the end along with the students chanting “SFA! SFA!” A lot of times when you do an event like that the players are looking at the time on their phone or watch wondering when they get to leave, but we actually had to drag them out so that we could go back for lunch and then practice. All of the people that were involved to make sure our team had a great trip, were awesome. We didn’t have to worry about anything once we arrived.
After we returned from the trip, we talked as a staff and the question that was asked was “If you went to another school or had another opportunity to go to Belfast for the tournament, would you?” and our staff answered with a resounding 100%” This is an experience that I would recommend to any future teams.
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for organizing a wonderful trip for my family. Everything went smoothly, thanks to great organizational efforts on your part! I am not sure how you also arranged for no rain while we were in London but thank you for that as well!
We really loved our time in England and Scotland thanks to all of your good planning. I definitely would like to go back someday! Many thanks for planning a wonderful family vacation for us!
Thank you so much for all the time and effort done to make this such an amazing trip for everyone on the tour. The organization of first getting everyone to Dublin then the Great day trips in both Dublin and Belfast as well as the group events were perfect and met everyone’s needs. Dennis did such an amazing job of sharing so much of the history of Ireland with respect as well as humor. Then to be there to make sure everyone was on their way the last day truly showed to me how amazing the trip and its organizers really were. Thank you to you all for your
attention to detail and your organizational skills. I have met some very special people on the trip and created memories that will last a lifetime.
