Welcome to Ireland! Upon arrival, you will transfer west to the lively town of Westport, where your dancing adventure begins. Along the way, enjoy a panoramic drive through the stunning Connemara region, with a stop at the breathtaking Kylemore Abbey—an iconic castle nestled in the mountains. After checking in at the Westport Woods Hotel, settle in and get ready for the evening’s festivities. The trip kicks off with live performances by Matt Leavy, Alex, and Sinead Black, setting the tone for a week of music, movement, and fun.

After a hearty Irish breakfast, head out on a scenic trip to Achill Island—one of the Wild Atlantic Way’s most breathtaking spots. You’ll explore dramatic cliffs, quiet beaches, and sweeping views that capture the raw beauty of Ireland’s west coast. A visit to the local Achill Island Brewery adds a refreshing twist to the day, where you can sample some of their small-batch craft brews. Back in Westport, the evening brings another lively session of dancing at the hotel, so lace up your shoes and get ready to hit the floor again for live performances.

After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Westport as you make your way north to the seaside town of Bundoran in County Donegal. Along the way, stop at the historic Foxford Woollen Mills for a guided tour and a look at Ireland’s textile heritage.
Continue on to Sligo, a town rich in literary history and framed by the striking Benbulben Mountain. Arrive in Bundoran in the afternoon and check in at the Allingham Arms Hotel, one of Ireland’s top country music venues. The evening promises a vibrant atmosphere and a packed dance floor. So, dust off your boots and get ready for another fantastic evening of music and dancing!

After breakfast, the day begins with a visit to one of Ireland’s most breathtaking natural landmarks—Slieve League Cliffs. They are among the highest sea cliffs in Europe. After, stop at the Donegal Tweed Centre to learn about the region’s weaving traditions and browse beautifully crafted garments. Back at the Allingham Arms, enjoy an optional afternoon dance session before another lively evening of music and dancing as part of the October Dancing Festival.

This morning, we will head into Donegal Town for a relaxed day of sightseeing and local flavor. Whether you are browsing the shops, enjoying a quiet moment by the harbor, or stepping inside the historic Donegal Castle, there’s plenty to take in at your own pace. Later in the day, there’s an optional music and dancing event in the hotel for those interested.
That evening, we will have our final night of the Allingham Arms Festival, with a night guaranteed to bring tons of enjoyment and fun. A perfect finale to your time in Bundoran.

Today, the group travels south from Bundoran to the vibrant city of Galway, with a scenic stop in the charming village of Cong. Known for its role in The Quiet Man, Cong offers a delightful mix of film history and traditional Irish charm. A visit to the Quiet Man Museum brings the story to life and offers a glimpse into the village’s cinematic legacy. Later in the day, you’ll arrive in Galway and have time to explore the city’s lively streets, colorful shopfronts, and rich cultural atmosphere. This evening, enjoy a dancing event in Galway, offering another chance to take to the floor and enjoy the music in a new setting.

This morning, set out on a guided walking tour of Galway, where cobbled streets, colorful facades, and centuries of history come together in one of Ireland’s most beloved cities. Learn about Galway’s medieval roots, its vibrant arts scene, and the stories behind its iconic landmarks. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace—whether that means shopping for last-minute souvenirs, relaxing in a café, or soaking up the street music and lively atmosphere that make Galway so unique.
