Friendship Series History

The Friendship Series was created as an extension of the Friendship Four, in which it’s inception in 2015 drew massive turnouts and excitement across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. 2019 featured the Inaugural Friendship Series between Clarkson University and Northeastern University. Game 1 ended in a 3-3 tie and game 2 saw Northeastern win 3-1. NCAA women’s hockey returned to Belfast in 2020 which featured Quinnipiac University (2-0) and Merrimack College (0-2). The ECAC and Hockey East Women return for the first time since COVID-19.
