Cara Group Travel is excited to be participating in the Boston Cannon’s Irish Heritage Day at Veteran’s Stadium Quincy, MA on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at 2:00 PM. We are proud of our Irish heritage and the very meaning in our name, ‘Cara’ which translates to “friend” in Gaelic.
At this special event, we look forward to welcoming all Boston Cannon Fans, family and friends, as we raffle off a spot on Boston’s Irish Band, Devri, sold-out Tour of Ireland and Northern Ireland in July 2020.
Devri has toured all over the States, Europe, China and Australia and finally, it’s time for Devri to bring their beats back to their homeland. This is a unique opportunity for Devri followers, and truly anyone who appreciates good music & good company, to explore the Emerald Isle with a band whose Irish roots and passions for singing in cozy Irish pubs, and seeing spectacular sights, set you up with the most authentic itinerary. They will be touring parts of the Beautiful Wild Atlantic Way, beginning in Steve’s hometown of Tralee in the Kingdom of Kerry….up through Limerick, Galway, Mayo, Sligo and on into Donegal and Martin’s Hometown of Ballybofey…..then even further North to Ireland’s most Northerly Parish of Malin, in Donegal, where Declan grew up….and along the Northern Coastline through Derry City, The Glens of Antrim and Belfast…While Devri keeps you entertained, you’ll visit some of Ireland’s most-loved attractions, including the Cliffs of Moher, Giants Causeway, and the Titanic Experience.

A Quick News Flash on our Sporting Event
This year at Cara Group Travel we are proudly working with the Friendship Four Festival of hockey which is taking place over the Thanksgiving weekend in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The four Universities included in the tournament are Colgate University, University of New Hampshire, Northeastern University and Princeton University which will be battling it out for the Belpot Trophy.
This is the fourth year running that we here at Cara Group Travel have provided travel solutions to the team members their family, friends and fans, to the most prestigious event in the Northern Irish sporting calendar. Each year the tournament is televised over 70 networks across America, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland but nothing beats being there in the moment!
Last years winners were Union College with a fantastic display of hockey who battled it out against Boston University, Union College and the University of Connecticut. We have received overwhelming reviews from this trip such as; ‘The entire trip was fantastic and very well planned out’, ‘Everything was on schedule and there was still plenty of free time’ and ‘Cara employees made this a memorable trip for all’.
