WE IN Ireland know we have some of the best beaches in the world, but it’s nice when other people acknowledge it.
Just as Ireland has recently been voted as having the sexiest accent in the world, and Dublin and Cork acknowledged as being two of the friendliest cities in the world, it’s looking to be a very good year for Irish gratification.
International travel magazine Condé Nast has released its list of the 20 best beaches in the world, and Achill Island’s Keem Bay, off the coast of Mayo, has come in 3rd place.
