Today is a very significant day for Northern Ireland recognizing the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement. My love affair with Northern Ireland started when I was 16 years old visiting my aunt who lives in Belfast. A city full of passion, pride and promise put its spell on me . Now all these years later we embrace the Giant Spirit that is tourism in Northern Ireland. When starting Cara Group Travel, 12 years ago this tourism community welcomed me with fierce enthusiasm and warmth. People wanted to share this part of the world that they were so proud to work and live in, and didn’t waste any time in creating award winning experiences.
Over the years building the business, Northern Ireland continues to play a key role in our success. Our groups to Northern Ireland include college study abroad programs from Texas, business trade missions from Boston and New York, culture seekers from all over the United States, Titanic enthusiasts from Missouri, soccer players from Oklahoma and our very important College Ice Hockey Players that take part in the Friendship Four Tournament hosted by the Belfast Giants.
Northern Ireland gives back when its Belfast Giants All Stars face off with the Ukrainian National Championship team in a one-off international event on April 19th. Cara Group Travel is a proud sponsor, and all proceeds will be donated to Ukrainian Hockey Dream in support of their continued work in rebuilding during challenging times. These achievements of the past 25 years have created the road map for the next exciting 25 years to come. Sara Stanton
