Montenotte, one of Ireland’s top hotels, has unveiled Ireland’s most luxurious outdoor suites with the introduction of the Woodland Suite Experience. This unique offering allows guests to relax in ultimate luxury while connecting with the natural environment.
Launching in August 2024 at The Montenotte hotel in Cork, the nine new Woodland Suites and River Suites, as well as an exclusive residents-only Clubhouse, will set a new standard for luxury accommodation in Ireland.
Each remarkable suite provides a unique cocoon nestled within the beautiful Irish landscape offering stunning views over the River Lee, Cork Harbor, and Cork City. Complete with Italian travertine and oak timber floor finishes, expansive and beautifully detailed bathrooms, free-standing baths, exquisite furnishings and exclusive private terraces, the Woodland Suite Experience invites guests to unwind and indulge in the utmost luxury and elegance.
The River Suites are cantilevered on the hillside while the distinctive octagon shape of the Woodland Suites represents regeneration, rebirth, and renewal. The Clubhouse serves as the exclusive gathering spot for guests of the Woodland Suite Experience to immerse themselves in culinary experiences, unwind with a good book or savor a coffee or crafted cocktail in elegance and complete privacy.

The River Suites will feature living sedum roofs allowing the architecture to blend into the surrounding woodlands, as well as offering a habitat for wildlife and vegetation. And for every stay at The Woodland Suite Experience, a tree will be planted in honor of the guests to support the conservation of Ireland’s woodlands, promote land regeneration, and enhance biodiversity.
Built within a former 18th-century residence of a merchant prince, The Montenotte hotel has a rich heritage that has been preserved throughout the years and updated with a contemporary twist.
