Who we are

Cara Group Travel  is a custom group and event travel company based in
Quincy, MA. The group travel types include family heritage, sports travel, business & incentive, religious,
educational and music to Ireland and other European destinations.

 

What we’re looking for in a Travel Specialist 

Someone to create, operate and promote group programs that will contribute to the continued growth of the
company. This position requires outstanding communications skills, a passion for excellent standard of
customer service and the ability to make connections with the customers. In a small company it is key
that the candidate can work as part of a team but also meet their own deadlines.

Key Responsibilities Include:

–  Handle incoming requests from clients to assist them with creating their perfect group trip, matching their budget, interests and needs.

–  Developing new product and itineraries to encourage new business.

–  Creating the collateral that assists groups in booking their trips such as the dedicated website and booking forms.

–  Handle the registration process for group travelers, from initial bookings, invoicing, payments, passport names and other requests.

– Collaborate with all departments and employees to evaluate current systems and processes.

–  Coordinate with Managment on an ongoing basis with regards to future opportunities in product, market and client development.Skills and Experience:

–  2 years travel sales or hospitality experience preferred

–  Proficient in Microsoft systems and technically savvy in navigating multiple computer systems.

– Strong writing skills with excellent attention to detail

– Have a passion for service and working with clients over the phone to establish solid relationships for the company.

–  Call center experience a plus

–  Ability to work alone or as part of a team

–  Willingness to learn and be part of the solutions to company challenges.

–  International travel experience a plus

–  Available to travel internationally if required

–  Enjoy a little “Irish Humor”
