Day 1: Welcome to the Emerald Isle, Explore Dublin

Our first day in Ireland begins with a panoramic tour of Dublin, the capital city nestled along the River Liffey and framed by Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains to the south. With a rich and layered history, from the early Gaels and Vikings to the English rule, Dublin’s cultural heritage is reflected in its diverse architecture, soaring Medieval, Georgian, Gothic Revival, and Modern styles. After exploring the city, we’ll head to the Guinness Storehouse for an immersive experience where you will discover the brewing process, the brewery’s history, and its iconic advertisements. The visit concludes with a pint in hand at the Gravity Bar, offering sweeping views over the Dublin skyline.

We’ll learn what it takes to breed, own, and race a racehorse, and even test our skills in the interactive Irish Racehorse Experience. Upon arrival in Kilkenny, we’ll enjoy a guided walking tour of this medieval city, rich in history and nestled between its iconic castle and cathedral. After the walking tour, you will have free time to explore and enjoy the night!

Day 3: Kilkenny to Cork

After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey south to Cork, with a stop at the iconic Rock of Cashel along the way. Once the seat of the Kings of Munster, this striking fortress was gifted to the Church following the legendary conversion of the King to Christianity by St. Patrick. The site is home to Cormac’s Chapel, which contains the only known Romanesque frescoes in Ireland and an extraordinary glimpse into 12th-century religious art. Upon arrival in Cork, we’ll take in a panoramic view of this vibrant city, nestled between the two channels of the River Lee.

The morning takes us to the historic port town of Kinsale, known for its winding, colorful streets rich in history, art, and culinary delights. You’ll have free time to explore at your own pace and enjoy lunch at one of the many charming cafes or restaurants. In the afternoon, we’ll return to Cork, where you’ll have additional free time to discover the city’s hidden gems. Whether it’s browsing The English Market, exploring the Crawford Art Gallery, visiting University College Cork’s Lewis Glucksman Gallery and Stone Corridor, or stepping back in time at Elizabeth Fort or St. Anne’s Church and the Shandon Bells, there’s something for every interest. In the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from Cork’s many fantastic restaurants and enjoy dinner on your own.

Once we arrive and get settled in, it’s time to saddle up and experience Killarney in a traditional haunting car. These iconic horse-drawn cars offer a leisurely, scenic tour through Killarney at your own pace. Day 6: Explore Killarney

After breakfast, we’ll hop on the bus for a scenic drive around the world-famous Ring of Kerry. This breathtaking route traces the Iveragh peninsula, offering unforgettable views of Ireland’s rugged coastline, rolling hills, and charming villages. We’ll make plenty of stops along the way to soak in the scenery and snap some stunning photos.

After a day of exploration, enjoy a free evening back in Killarney. The city center is home to fantastic restaurants serving both traditional and modern Irish cuisine, perfect for a memorable dinner. Later, immerse yourself in the local atmosphere with a visit to one of Killarney’s welcoming pubs. With lively traditional music, a laid-back crowd, and plenty of charm, it’s the ideal way to wrap up the day.

Day 7: Killarney to Galway

Once we’re fueled up, we’ll set off for one of Ireland’s most iconic natural wonders, the Cliffs of Moher. Our journey begins with a scenic drive to a unique experience, a drive-on ferry crossing over the River Shannon. This large vessel comfortably carries cars and buses, and it’s the perfect opportunity to stretch your legs, take in the coastal air, and snap a few photos on deck.

Upon reaching the other side, we’ll continue our journey north toward the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher. Standing tall over the Atlantic Ocean, these dramatic cliffs offer awe-inspiring views and fantastic photo ops. For those seeking an even more elevated perspective, a short climb to the top of O’Brien’s Tower provides panoramic vistas that are truly unforgettable.

After exploring the cliffs, we’ll wind our way to Galway. Be advised, the road can get narrow and curvy at times, so if you’re sensitive to motion, we recommend bringing along Dramamine or ginger chews for comfort.

This evening, enjoy free time to discover the magic of Galway at your own pace. Start at Eyre Square, the lively heart of the city center, and wander down Quay Street, a charming, pedestrian-friendly street filled with local shops, cafes, restaurants, and vibrant pubs. Whether you’re after a cozy pint, a bite of fresh seafood, or some live traditional music, Galway has something for everyone.

Day 8: Explore Connemara

The day begins with a scenic drive through the breathtaking Connemara National Park as we make our way to the majestic Kylemore Abbey. Connemara is a place of raw, national beauty, with sweeping mountain views, quiet boglands, rolling heaths, and peaceful woodlands creating a landscape that feels both timeless and wild.

Our destination, Kylemore Abbey, is nestled at the base of Druchruach Mountain, reflecting beautifully across the lake. Originally built as Kylemore Castle in 1868, it was transformed into an abbey in 1920, and later became an all-girls school in 1923, which operated until its closure in 2010. As you explore the estate, be sure not to miss the beautifully restored Victorian Walled Garden, a serene and colorful retreat that’s perfect for a leisurely stroll.

In the evening, we’ll come together one last time for a special farewell dinner, complete with live entertainment. It’s a wonderful way to share memories, celebrate new friendships, and toast to an unforgettable journey before heading home.
