Cara Group Travel specializes in designing group travel experiences to Ireland and Europe. To date, we have created countless memories, vivid experiences, and cherished stories for a range of clientele including; academic, heritage, musical, professional, religious, sporting, and touring groups.

Cara Group Travel was established in 2012 by Sara Stanton. Sara was born in County Mayo Ireland and for the past 20 years, she has worked in the travel industry in the United States. The passion, expertise, experience and genuine personal touch offered by Sara is what makes booking with CGT the perfect choice.

Samantha is one of our newer team members. Growing up on the South Shore of Boston, she originally got the travel bug after her first trip to England in 2005. Samantha lived in Bologna, Italy in 2019, where she was able to travel throughout Europe, and has continued to go back to explore new countries since then. She has spent many years planning and securing trips for friends and family, now she is thrilled to help others experience Ireland, Europe, and beyond!

Danny is our newest team member, joining Cara in October 2023. He grew up in Dorchester, in the heart of Boston’s Irish community. Danny has a background in Operations Management & Leadership, as well as an MBA from the University of Liverpool (UK). While living “across the pond”, he explored his passion for sport and travel, experiencing the different cultures and cities across Europe. Now he is eager to help others live out their dreams of experiencing the charms of Ireland and beyond!

Adam joined the team in the spring of 2022 and is a recent graduate of Merrimack College. He grew up in Rochester, NY and brings his Irish heritage to the Cara Group Travel Team. Adam has an extensive background in hockey, golf, and baseball and now officiates ice hockey at the high school, junior, and collegiate level. He loves to travel and can’t wait to join our teams in Ireland and beyond.

A rising Junior Graphic Design major and Photography minor at Endicott College, Alex certainly brings fresh ideas to the table. She comes from a very large Italian family and has lived in Quincy all of her life. For Cara, Alex takes care of our social media accounts, marketing materials, and creating/ maintaining the website for it to be the best it can be. Her mind is truly filled with so much creativity.

Kiernan joined Cara in February of 2024. Born and raised in the beautiful state of Vermont, Kiernan brings a blend of creative flair and strategic thinking to Cara Group Travel. He studied Art at Front Range Community College and Graphic Design at Colorado State University. He’s excited to share different culture’s, food, art, history and landscapes while featuring personal stories from our clients.

Alessia is an upcoming fourth-year Marketing and International Business major at Suffolk University, where she has been absorbed in the city lifestyle. Alessia has also spent time abroad, primarily based in Italy while also traveling and immersing herself in culture, fashion, and food. For Cara, Alessia brings a fresh perspective and a passion for travel and culture throughout Europe.

Riona is the newest member of the team joining Cara Group Travel in June 2024. Riona is from Belfast, Ireland, and loves being able to bring her culture to the States. Riona has a background in Business Management and split her Degree between Belfast and Manchester, England. Riona loves experiencing different Cultures and has traveled to Asia, America, and throughout Europe. Riona’s favorite thing to do is sit in a traditional Irish pub among friends with a nice cold pint of Guinness. Riona is also excited to show others her rich Irish Culture.

Melita our dynamic Director of Operations in Ireland who keeps everything running smoothly. With 20+ years of experience in the Tourism Industry she is a wealth of knowledge for all the new team members. Loved by our clients for her welcoming smile and passion for delivering the best program ever. While she is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, you will often find her at Dublin Airport, a hotel in London or on a coach meeting and greeting our clients. She is from Wales and has a serious passion for Rugby.

Andrea made her mark at Cara Group Travel in the spring of 2023, bringing a unique blend of teaching expertise and a deep passion for exploration. Originally from Galway, Andrea began her career as an educator before transitioning to the world of travel. She is dedicated to curating journeys that exceed expectations and her enthusiasm for Ireland fuels her commitment to creating seamless travel experiences.
